Chloe works for PartTimer in Wellington as the Head of Sales, and was in fact found through the PartTimer system. When Chloe isn’t managing the customer relationships at PartTimer, she is studying Economics at Victoria University, and thoroughly enjoys applying her university skills in a practical way. In her downtime, Chloe loves hanging out with her friends, cooking, and going to concerts.

Despite his love of the outdoors that only the South Island truly offers, Vivian is a committed Wellingtonian with a strong affinity with the startup community. With over 30 years of experience representing various international brands and technologies that are now part of the history books, Viv brings the wisdom and leadership which has been integral to PartTimer’s success. Regaling stories of life before the Internet, mobile phones and colour screens, Viv has an arsenal of war stories that really will make you wish you never asked.

Marketing Director

Paul Bowker

As PartTimer’s youngest director, Rebecca brings a youthful perspective to the team. Along with her devotion to helping young people through her role at PartTimer, much like her cofounders, Rebecca is rife with the entrepreneurial bug. Taking a leap of faith, Rebecca withdrew from University to cofound PartTimer at the beginning of 2016 - needless to say, we’re very glad she did. If you’re ever looking for Rebecca, you will most commonly find her buried in a bean bag fort, working on her laptop. Otherwise, just look for the girl in navy stripes.

With over 25 years of experience in the IT industry, Paul’s ever-evolving career has seen him move from web development, to wireless networks, to complex network infrastructures. In between managing to complete 12 Ironman’s - as well as various other endurance events - Paul spends his downtime with his loving family in a rural, southern Auckland setting. In his professional time, Paul has found himself consulting to both corporate entities such as Auckland Airport, along with exciting startups such as PartTimer.

Grant Burley

Grant is a successful entrepreneur with a passion for solving IT talent challenges in New Zealand. In 1993 he began his career in recruitment and soon realised a desire to build a niche recruitment agency that focused on people’s careers and business outcomes. The result of this philosophy is 11 successful business ventures in the highly competitive recruitment industry. As co-founder of Absolute IT, New Zealand’s leading IT recruitment provider, Grant brings a wealth of business knowledge and years of recruitment expertise to the PartTimer team. He has been involved in all aspects of building a successful recruitment business, including candidate and client engagement, effective recruitment processes, business development, marketing and communications and business governance. In his spare time Grant is almost always outdoors - skiing, golfing or hiking. Alternatively, you will find him enjoying a Pinot or good Scotch.


Head of Sales

Paul brings that certain grey-haired influence to PartTimer. He is a Chartered Accountant who started his working life at PwC. He then held senior finance roles in some big corporates, before becoming the General Manager Finance at Xero, where he saw the company grow from 1,000 customers to more than 300,000 customers in the six years he was there. Paul is now often sighted in local cafes catching up with members of the Wellington start up community, and balances his time between being a virtual CFO and financial mentor, while also working on his golf game.
